Healthy Substitutes for Holiday Cooking
As someone who has been living a holistic lifestyle for most of their adult life one of the biggest challenges is finding ways to make meals healthier. One common misconception with eating better is that people often think that means dropping all foods they love and only eating salads day in and day out. I am certainly an advocate for eating a side salad with every meal, but I also like to find ways to make the foods that I am somewhat living in sin eating a little less sinful. In any situation this could mean, adding veggies, putting less salt on foods, removing fats that aren’t really needed, you really just have to get in a healthy mind set and get creative! In my quest to help others make their holiday meals a little more healthy, here are 10 healthy substitutes for holiday cooking to keep in mind for your next celebration feast!
